Biography
Pablo La Roche serves as Principal and Sustainable Design Services Director at Arcadis, where he leads high-performance architecture initiatives. He has been a Professor of Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona University since 2003, where he previously served as Interim Director of the Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies. La Roche earned his PhD in Architecture from UCLA, studying under notable faculty including Murray Milne and Baruch Givoni. His career includes leadership roles at CallisonRTKL as Principal and Sustainable Design Lead, and as Director of Sustainable Design at HMC Architects, where he headed the firm's ArchLab studio dedicated to advancing sustainable design research. He is LEED AP certified and has presented his work at over forty events internationally, demonstrating his commitment to peer-reviewed, science-based contributions to the field.
