Biography
Lynn Simon, FAIA, LEED Fellow, is the Founder and Advisor of Regenerative Consulting + Coaching, where she advises AEC organizations on climate and sustainability strategy and coaches professionals in career development. With over 20 years of experience advancing sustainability goals across the tech, real estate, and AEC sectors, Simon previously served as Principal and Climate & Sustainability Services Leader at Arup, where she directed projects including BART's Sustainability Action Plan and Salesforce's building portfolio decarbonization. Before Arup, she was Head of Sustainability within Real Estate and Workplace Services at Google, leading carbon strategy across the global portfolio and co-creating the Regen Lab, a community of 100 industry leaders addressing climate challenges. She also served as Senior Vice President of Sustainability at Thornton Tomasetti and founded Simon & Associates, a nationally recognized green building consulting firm she led for nearly two decades, overseeing sustainability on more than 500 projects. Simon serves as a Board Member of AIA California and Chair of its Climate Action Committee, and is a Trustee of the Beverly Willis Architectural Foundation. She holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley.
