Louis Coletti

Louis 'Lou' Coletti serves as President and CEO of the Building Trades Employers Association (BTEA), bringing over three decades of experience in New York's construction industry. Recognized twice as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful and Influential People in New York City, Coletti was named one of Engineering News Record Magazine's Top 25 National Newsmakers in 2008 for his leadership in negotiating a groundbreaking private sector Economic Recovery Project Labor Agreement that restarted over $15 billion in construction projects and saved or created over 25,000 jobs during the economic crisis. He serves on numerous influential boards including the NYC Comptroller's MWBE Advisory Council, New York Building Congress as Vice Chairman, and the Mayor's Commission on Construction Opportunities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was appointed to Governor Cuomo's New York Forward Re-Opening Advisory Board and Mayor de Blasio's Construction and Real Estate Sector Advisory Council, providing essential guidance for New York's recovery.
