Biography
Lauren Della Bella is President and Owner of SHP, a position she has held since 2009. With over 38 years at the firm, she is responsible for firm-wide management and strategic vision, marketing and business development, client satisfaction, and overall firm culture. A strong business development professional skilled in comprehensive planning, sustainable design advocacy, and LEED, Della Bella has helped the firm achieve thought leadership in sustainability, BIM, and educational visioning and design. She is regularly sought after to speak on behalf of the firm and industry at conferences and events regionally and nationally. Della Bella is author of '9 Billion Schools - Why the World Needs Personalized Learning for All' and serves as Chief Inspiration Officer of the 9 Billion Schools Institute, as well as an Executive Board Member and Senior Fellow of the Design Futures Council.
