Biography
Jerod Hoffman serves as Managing Director of Meyer Borgman Johnson (MBJ), where he participates in strategic decision-making alongside the firm's senior leadership team. With over 30 years at MBJ, he develops new business opportunities across various markets and geographies while leading the firm's construction engineering services and international office in Cebu, Philippines. Hoffman specializes in connection engineering, guiding MBJ's team as they tackle the largest steel projects in the U.S. and Canada, delivering LOD400 connected models and creating value for fabricators, detailers, and EOR clients. He has shared his expertise through presentations at EuroSteel, Pacific Structural Steel Conference, NASCC National Conference, and AISC Steel Day. Hoffman holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Structural Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
