James Murray-Coleman

James Murray-Coleman serves as Director of Sustainability at Trammell Crow Company, where he leads the organization's energy transition and decarbonization efforts across its global commercial real estate portfolio. In this role, created in response to investor demand, he evaluates and implements aggressive sustainability strategies and chairs TCC's Global Sustainability Council. Murray-Coleman integrates best practices across the platform, including solar partnerships, mass timber opportunities, and emerging technologies to create climate-proof, low-carbon assets. With over 28 years at Trammell Crow Company, he previously served as Senior Vice President, overseeing design, entitlement, and construction for more than 10 million square feet of commercial office, industrial, and multi-family projects. He holds an MS in Civil, Environmental & Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
