Biography
James Miner serves as Executive Director of the East Region for CannonDesign, where he advances strategic growth and design impact across offices in Boston, New York City, Baltimore, and Washington, DC. Prior to joining CannonDesign, he spent over 20 years at Sasaki, an international planning and design firm, where he served as CEO from 2018 to 2024 and as Managing Principal from 2004 to 2024. Miner is actively engaged in civic leadership as a Board Member of Boston Harbor Now, working to ensure Boston Harbor's waterfront and islands are accessible and adapted to climate change. He was also a member of the Fast Company Impact Council. Miner holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University.
