Biography
James Krueger is Director of Design at HMC Architects, where he leads diverse teams and projects across the west coast in multiple practice areas. With over 25 years of studio experience, James brings expertise and a unique design perspective to every project. Previously serving as Design Principal, he has led the firm's Pre-K-12 Practice for design and overseen projects ranging from $10M to $230M. James has extensive experience in the Pre-K-12, Civic, and Higher Education markets, and is recognized for his skills in effectively managing design processes and creating innovative, cost-effective design solutions. Committed to HMC's 'Design for Good' philosophy, he focuses on creating facilities that enrich lives and strengthen the communities they serve, contributing to the social and cultural fabric of surrounding areas.
