Biography
Dr. Gregory Luhan, FAIA is the Director of the CRS Center at the Texas A&M College of Architecture. A nationally recognized architect, scholar, author, and academic leader, his work investigates the intersection of design, emerging digital technologies, critical theory, pedagogy, and academic-industry partnerships. His doctoral research validated the effectiveness of integrated collaborative architectural design studios in preparing students for professional practice. Dr. Luhan's research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, Department of Energy, and Graham Foundation. He has authored several books and received numerous awards including the CAADRIA Best Paper Presentation and SIGraDi Best Paper Award. Prior to founding his own firm, he served as Senior Designer and Project Architect with Agrest & Gandelsonas, Gwathmey Siegel, and Eisenman Architects. He holds degrees from Virginia Tech, Princeton University, and Texas A&M University.
