Biography
Dr. Calvin Kam is the Founder and CEO of bimSCORE and Strategic Building Innovation, guiding enterprises and project teams through construction innovation and digital transformation. A bSI Fellow, FAIA, PhD, PE, CCBM, and LEED AP, Dr. Kam serves as Adjunct Professor at Stanford University's Center for Integrated Facility Engineering, where he teaches and guides research on management scorecards, Building Information Modeling, and Virtual Design and Construction. He also holds the position of Vice President for Strategic Innovation at Optima, an award-winning real estate developer. Previously, Dr. Kam co-founded and led the General Services Administration's National 3D-4D-BIM Program, contributing significantly to public sector BIM adoption. His work spans strategic innovation for real estate development, architecture, engineering, construction, and facility management, with ventures in the USA, Hong Kong, and Singapore dedicated to optimizing the built environment.
