Biography
David Zach is a futurist who has presented thought-provoking talks on the convergence of design, learning, economic development, innovation, automation, and society since 1987. He holds an MS in Studies of the Future from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Zach served as one of two non-architects on the American Institute of Architects National Board of Directors from 2010 to 2013. His expertise bridges futures thinking and the design industry, where he has focused his speaking engagements. Earlier in his career, he worked as a trend analyst in corporate planning at Northwestern Mutual and taught graduate-level coursework on futures studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
