Bethany Garver

Bethany Garver serves as Dean of Practice at Boston Architectural College, a role she has held since October 2020. She holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design with Distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture, Magna Cum Laude, from Auburn University, where she studied under the late Samuel Mockbee at the Rural Studio. Before joining BAC in 2014, Garver spent eight years as a Project Manager at Rafael Viñoly Architects, including three years leading construction administration for complex laboratory projects. At BAC, she champions nontraditional students and works to redefine professional architectural education through collaborative and compassionate processes. Her approach examines historic governance structures, organizational culture, and policy impacts, with a focus on increasing opportunities in education and practice for individuals navigating multiple life responsibilities. She is dedicated to empowering future leaders and change agents in the profession.
