Alastair MacGregor

Alastair MacGregor leads WSP's Property+Buildings business line in the United States, overseeing one of the industry's most versatile engineering and specialty services groups. His extensive portfolio includes high-profile sustainable projects such as NASA's Net Zero LEED Platinum Sustainability Base, Beijing's World Finance Center, the Golden 1 Center arena, and Spaceport America. MacGregor's specialist expertise spans sustainable design, LEED, advanced MEP design, high-performance buildings, commissioning, passive design, renewables, energy master planning, and smart building and city strategy. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council Board of Directors. Prior to joining WSP in 2022, MacGregor spent 24 years at AECOM, where he held senior leadership positions including Global Market Sector Leader for Tech + Logistics and Building Engineering Practice Leader for the Americas.
