Adam McMillen

Adam McMillen serves as Director of Sustainability at IMEG Corp, where he has led the firm's approach to sustainable, high-performance building design since 2017. A licensed professional mechanical engineer with a master's degree in engineering, McMillen brings a unique perspective grounded in practical experience from farming and home building. His career includes mechanical design and commissioning of high-rise office, higher education, and science and technology projects. Prior to IMEG, he served as Director of Energy Consulting for Seventhwave, a non-profit organization, where he led a national initiative with the Department of Energy promoting performance-based procurement and zero energy design. McMillen's expertise spans energy modeling, sustainable design certification, campus energy master planning, and outcome-based building performance approaches that emphasize measuring success during operations.
