Bookends of Life – Part 1

On this edition of This Is DesignIntelligence, Dave is joined by Ana Pinto da Silva and Jonathan Salk. Ana is the CEO of Minka Incorporated. Her work synthesizes her interest in design, story telling, architecture and emerging technologies. Jonathan is the co-author, with his father Jonas Salk, of the book A New Reality, Human Evolution for a Sustainable Future. Together, they talk about the intersection of science and culture, the challenges to quality of life throughout the human lifespan, and how design can positively influence community and cooperation and play a central role in changing the experience of marginalized groups for the better.
